Some of my favorite finds on Etsy!
Knitting bookmark is from chatnoir77. My sister knits and I think she would really love this bookmark!

Cairn Terrier is from dogartstudio. I have two Cairn Terriers and I think this would look so cute propped up on a bookshelf!

Shoe stamp is from luvmypets. My DH is in the shoe business, and this would make a great stocking stuffer!

Sister Ester is from nunofakind. I just think this is so funny! I might buy this for myself!

Basket set is from sosorosey. I have one of rosey's bowls and they are sooooo sweet!

Wine charms (shoes) are from JenNixon. As stated above, my DH is in the shoe business. Now, he wouldn't love them, but I do!

Smoke! Cold Process Swirled Soap

I just love how this soap turned out! It's scented with Black Tea Fragrance Oil, but it reminds me of Smoke....so that's what I'm going to call it!
Here is how the company describes it: "This smoky, sexy and sophisticated fragrance is reminiscent of roasted tea leaves with strong overtones of tobacco. With surprising top notes of Italian Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon and Southern Orange, the blend winds down with Black Tea Leaves, Star Jasmine, White Cedarwood, Amber Crystal and a rich musk. This is a bold and unusual scent sure to intrigue."
Now, how can you not want to try this!! It won't be ready for several more weeks, so stay tuned!

It's July Already...Time To Catch Up With Life!

July will be a wonderful Catch Up month for me. My son came home from college this past weekend and it was so nice to catch up on what's going on with him! He has one last class to take, and is now looking for a job!
My daughter is coming home THIS weekend! She just finished grad school and is working at her first job...and she doesn't have to work on the weekend!
I'm also going to catch up on Etsy. I have lots of Fall and holiday soaps to make, and I need to get my gift baskets together and pictures taken. My holiday season was soooo busy, and I want to be prepared, so July is a great month to CATCH UP!!

Second Batch of Soap....This Is Addicting!

Here's the batch all wrapped up! I have the soap log on top of some newspapers, since the granite can get cold, and the blanket on top.

Here's the "soap box" I made. It's a wooden box that held some matching Christmas ornaments. Makes a sturdy box. I just popped the lid on!

Here's the soap! I lined the box with parchment paper and placed plastic wrap on top of the soap.

ABreathOfFrenchAir's Aromatherapy

Ah, the sweet smells of bath and body products! One thing I love is how wonderful my house always smells!
Peppermint is my favorite scent, and is also one of the strongest! The heart shaped soaps, to the left, are scented with Peppermint and have REAL Organic Peppermint Leaves infused in the soap...yum!

I started carrying Shampoo's and Conditioner's not too long ago and I have many happy customers! I love playing around with the aroma's and I think, so far, Peppermint Lavender is my favorite!

I can't live without my Body Butter! I think I am addicted to it! It goes on so smooth, and leaves your skin soft and NOT greasy....a HUGE plus for me!!

Planning stages

I've been researching making cold process soap for ages now and I'm finally ready to get my feet wet (no pun intended..lol). I have all my equipment except for my stick blender and some of my oils, that I'm picking up the week. My mold is to the left, and I can't wait to use it! Below are picture of CP soap. These are images (free) that I found on the internet. Don't they look beautiful!!

Labels Revisited

I worked on my labels yesterday, and came up with something that I think may work...at least I really like them!

To the left is my old label, using my old font (England)

Ta Da! Here's the new label! I used a different font, which I LOVE, and I think it's much easier to read. Do you?

I really like the simple look!
