There are lots of steps I take before I get to this first picture, but they involve measuring, measuring, measuring...oh...and wearing lots of safety gear (which I still have on).
In this first picture, I have just added the Lye/Water mixture to the Oils.
In about 10 seconds, this is what it looks like!

Wow, soap making looks fun...like cooking. :o)
French, that is very cool to see the process!
That actually looks yummy, bet it smells wonderful
I had no idea what processes were involved. That's interesting!
That's really cool! I used to want to try soapmaking, years ago, but the lye scared me off.
Of course, now I play with fire and chemicals and other equally scary things. Sooo, yeah. :)
This is so awesome! I have a friend who will be doing a demo for a couple of us who want to see the process live-and-in-person!
I do a lot of teaching, especially for things that are empowering! So THANKS a bunch for sharing your experience with us all!
You Rock!!!
Love that picture! It looks so yummy
Wow! I was thinking about trying to make soaps (although I'll probably never get around to it!). Have you ever used herbal extracts as opposed to essential oils? If so oes it work the same or are they not as stable?
