May I bore you with my excitement that Spring is almost here?? Since I'm stuck in a cast, and can't get around the yard yet, I'll just have to nourish my quest of flowers through my extensive albums of THOUSANDS of pictures of my garden!
Red Hot Poker...one of my favorite plants! They shoot out like fire crackers and are about 3 to 4 feet tall.
Blanket Flower...a beautiful plant that shows it's pretty face all summer long, and into the fall.
Johnny Jump Ups...a cheerful Hello in the spring. They are a great ground cover and I just love the blues, purples, and yellows!

I had a pain in my heart looking at the beautiful flowers..We are expecting snow again, tomorrow..
Woe is me!
Snow? Yikes! We are supposed to have cold weather too...with a chance of snow!
i'm also glad to have warmer weather...i planted a bunch of pansies too!
I planted red hot pokers from seed last spring, can't wait to see what they'll do this year!
Same with the blanket flowers, a few seem to have wintered over here in eastern NC, so hopefully they'll grow for another summer!
Erin, you will be amazed at the red hot poker! It's well worth the wait! I even divided the plant last year so I could have more!
