Why Are Lip Balms So Hard To Wrap?

I love making lip balms, but I absolutely detest wrapping them! It's not actually the wrapping that is difficult, but having the label STAY ON!
I use labels from Onlinelabels.com. They have a great selection, and my lip balm labels are cut so they fit perfectly. No cutting!
I chose the plain labels to wrap the lip balms with.
I like the plain labels, but they start coming off after a few days. I usually use shrink wrap to keep the labels on, but I don't have the correct ones for the oval tubes. The labels I have are perforated on the side, which makes the entire shrink wrap come off, which leaves the label "bare" again.
My round tubes have shrink wrap that is perforated right under the cap, so the customer twists it off and the shrink wrap stays on the tube.
Today I spent about an hour cutting and wrapping my labels with packing tape! The pictures here were taken without the tape since they are hard to take pictures of with it on. The tape is working, but what a pain!!
Does anyone have a solution? I think this is a question all bath and body people would love an answer to!
BTW, do you like my new label design? My old labels had a toile design, but I think they were too busy and too plain looking at the same time.

Follow this link. I use the water-resistant 1.8 x 1.8 labels from labelsbythesheet.com. These labels NEVER come off...fit perfectly, and look the same after months of using. This might help.

Hope it helps!

Thanks, t.a! That helps a lot! I have a laser printer. I do not see labels for vinyl laser. I wonder if the polyester labels would work the same?

"T-perf" lip balm tube shrink bands. Try elements bady and body. The idea is that the customer peels the shrink wrap off just the cap portion and leaves the shrink band intact covering the label to protect it.
